History of the House

Dangarthal is 15 kms from Newai and Newai is situated on Jaipur Kota 4 lane highway and it is 80 kms from Jaipur.Dangarthal was granted to Thakur Kalyan Singh Ji Rathore in 1889 and Tajim was also granted with Thikana. Thakur Kalyan Singh Ji was Nanosa ( maternal grandfather ) of Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh Ji of Jaipur. Dangarthal family is offshoot of Bhinai family and are Chandrasenot Jodha Rathore  With Thikana there is a Bagh in Jaipur which is called Nana Ji ka Bagh and there is old Dangarthal House from state time. This present garh is a new building and it was newly constructed by Thakur Sahib Devi Singh Ji as the old garh was there before the thikana was granted to Kalyan Singh Ji. Old garh was granted to school. Dangarthal earlier was under control of Jaipur, Isarda and Jhilai before the grant to Kalyan Singh Ji. Dangarthal have 7 generation Thakur Sahib Kalyan Singh Ji Rathore(Nanaji),Thakur Sahib Devi Singh Ji Rathore(Babosa),Thakur sahib Devraj Singh(Apasa),Kunwar Sahib Surraj Singh Ji Rathore, Thakur Sahib Shivraj Singh Ji Rathore, Kunwar Sahib Yuvraj Singh Ji Rathore, Bhanwar Abhiraj Singh Rathore.

Thakur Sahib Shivraj Singh Ji Rathore Of Dangarthal is a descendant of rao chandrasen ji the first pioneer of independence from the Jodhpur dynasty.Thakur sahib Kalyan Singh ji is younger brother  of Thakur Sahib Sardar Singh Ji Rathore who is known as Kerot Veer Shiromani and nana ji(maternal grandfather) of Madho Singh ji (Kayam Singh ji)who had come to the throne of Jaipur from the Isarda thikana  got the Dangarthal Tajimi thikana from Jaipur State in 1889. Thakur Saheb Kalyan Singh ji had a son who went to the lap of his elder brother Thakur Sahab Sardar Singh Ji's adress, Karot. After Kalyan Singh ji got Dangarthal adress, he went to Ganwari adopted the eldest son Thakur Sahib Devi Singh Ji. Thakur Sahib Devi Singh ji had 3 sons Devraj Singh ji, Bheru Singh ji, Narpat Singh ji respectively. Thakur Sahib Devraj Singh ji was the first head of the Panchayat Samiti Niwai. He had two sons, Kunwar Surraj Singh Ji Kunwar Girraj Singh ji they passed away in thakur sahib Devraj Singh ji's Life time in kunwarpada.

Thakur Shivraj Singh son of Kunwar Surraj Singh is the 5th successor in this thikana. He inherited literature, political organization , and horse riding from his grandfather Thakur Sahib Devraj Singh Rathore (Apasa).
